Jet 1240 PY

Has anybody got one of these lathes? I see a lot about 1236 PS and 1236 P lathes, but nothing on the 1240 PY. This is a belt drive with a full cabinet under the lathe and looks to have a builtin coolant system in the cabinet. I purchased this on eBay and have yet to pick it up. Lathe was built in 1985. thanks for any information that you might share

I have the Jet 1024 PY, although do not have a cabinet etc. Just a little brother of the one you got if not mistaken.
Nice lathe If you find any backing plates for it please let me know I need to find some.

you'll have years of productive service ahead with the jet lathe.
i own 2 1236 shenwai lathes that are cousins to the jet1236
you may be able to find some parts through jet, but don't count on it
