Jet lathe reversing lever issue

Does your contactor box use a step-down transformer? If so it would be a 24 volt system with 24 volt contactors and switching
How many wires to the reversing switches?

Looks like 5 wires to the switches. I’m guessing it steps down to 24v. It has all this in a box on the back.

This might be what you are looking for....? Not sue if there's a difference between GHB-1440 and 1440A. This manual is for the GHB-1440A. Electrical diagrams are the last 3 pages.

Here is the wiring diagram.

This is a bunch of **** I don't really understand.

This is the cover for the box where the motor connections are made.

These they cut off from the wires that went into the box on the motor.

These are 3 of the 6 motor wires twisted together

Ok my pictures won't load but I think it's down to the switches at the end of the lathe by the tailstock. Could anyone post pictures of how that is wired? I noticed that all the wires are numbered and I am hoping it's out of order there.

I was able to verify the motor wiring and it checks out. I have traced all the wires and if I am reading the diagram it's wired correctly. Not sure what else to check.
