I like it Mike
thanks Thomas!
that's fun! I need to get myself a welder one day :)
it sure is Matt!
small A/C buzzboxes are relatively inexpensive, but very useful!
E6011 and just under 100 amps will stick most common steels together
I love it.
So that's how chain is made.
Thanks Jeff!!!

thank you very much David.
i can't always claim that the works are not shamelessly plagiarized,
but i have a whole lot of fun doing it!

Thanks to all who read this.
i hope to inspire others to try something different!

Great use of those grey cells. Yeah, you got it !!.

Oh BTW, i like it All.

It is slightly possible I have the skills to do this. For sure I don’t have the imagination! So clever, Doctor.

Thank you Winegrower!
i wish i was more imaginative , but i try!
i think the imagination is like a muscle, you have to work it to make it stronger!
don't sell yourself short.
you can always try until you succeed, then try some more!!! :)

Awesome Mike, loved them all.
Your bit about imagination is so true.
Stay safe.

ACT 1
I have been at it again.
this time i have 2 entries.... both with kinetic sculpture elements

the first is a fisherman constructed from an inverted, broken, 2" excavator pin, some round and flat stock, a stainless steel tube remnant, a rusty nail and one of grandmas table spoons that was (crudely) flattened and turned into a fish, that's suspended by .002" piano wire!

IMG_4236.jpg IMG_4232.jpg

the fish twists and turns with air movement, simulating a catch!

Act 2:
the secondary admission is a goofy rendering of a kinetic sculpture stork... I call him Reginald !

he is constructed from old machine parts, old flat stock, old chain, a horseshoe, and welded rusty pipe for the mount

IMG_4246.jpg IMG_4247.jpg IMG_4248.jpg IMG_4249.jpg
i fit a lucky horseshoe into the design!

here is the finished work!

he dances when the wind blows!
