Just posted about an hour ago ... Phoenix area Craigslist ad for a lathe and mill.

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/tls/d/tyro-lathe-and-mill/6918297961.html

The mill is a round column RongFu 31, the lathe is a Birmingham YCL1126BD, 11" swing, 26" between centers. Here's a dealer ad for the lathe:
https://www.sterlingmachinery.com/l...-head-single-phase-smycl1126bd-machinery.html

Seller wants $1900 for both. Might well be a gerat bargain!

Seller info: "Call Bob 602-568-4145"

Other than this, I know nothing about the seller or what he's offering.

Strangely enough, though the ad is in the "East Valley" Phoenix craigslist, and it's a Phoenix area code. But the map on the ad shows someplace nowhere in Oklahoma/Kansas - ???

I know that area of Kansas and it doesn't look like the pictures particularly here lately. Looks like a Phoenix yard to me, no grass, rocks and brick. He may have goofed on a zip code or something.

My brother lives in Phoenix and that looks like it, dry and sun-baked

I've seen many CL ads for the same thing posted in multiple areas; it's done to increase visibility for the seller, and add a bunch of driving miles for potential buyers! FWIW, and if you care, that's a made-in-China lathe; the tip-off is the slightly odd font used on the front panel labeling.

Ya, both made in China. If you follow the link, you'll see more photos of the lathe. When I first saw the ad, I thought it was a 9x20 ... spittin' image of the Grizzly G4000 I used to own! And of course, Rong Fu in the Craigslist ad plainly shows "Made in China."
Still and all, probably a pretty good price for the two of 'em.
