My Reed Prentice lathe came without a crossfeed handle, so I was hoping to come up with a replacement. Getting an original isn't really in the cards, so I either have to make one, or find an existing one. The drive is a 1/2" square, and about 2.5-3" around. I was hoping to get the style with two knobs on it, but I cannot seem to find one.

Does anyone have a source of those 2-knob lathe handles that you see on a lot of the bigger ones? Something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/ATLAS-10-1...010278?hash=item262258ec66:g:7MsAAOSwzUVdM3sz but that I can tell what the OD is :)

I suspect I'll have to make a bushing for it anyway.

Don't have a clue where you can buy anything like that, but you can make a nearly identical handle pretty easily. Here are pix of a couple I've made out of scrap in the shop. The larger one is for a pretty good sized lathe a friend of mine has, and the smaller one is a speed wrench I made for my Kurt vise. That one has a swivel handle on it. They were great learning exercises, as well.

Regards,
Terry
