I've recently come to own a 101.28990 that I'm tearing down, cleaning and relubing but was curious if there is any other place besides eBay to but attachments for these 12" craftsman/atlas lathes. Mine came with pretty minimal tooling, 3 jaw chuck, QCTP, jacobs super chuck and a live center. Obviously not nearly enough to turn longer items and the through hole size guarantees, I assume, I'm going to need a steady rest. Please bear with my ignorance as I'm completely new to lathes but am trying to learn by reading several hours each night. Hands on will come when I get this things setup properly.

Hello,
I found some of my Craftsman lathe parts under Atlas here and NEW in the box, much cheaper then ebay. Also had to buy some on ebay to find it all my parts.

Many of the common lathe parts sellers on eBay also have web sites. An internet search should turn some of them up.
