Hi Everyone,

This is my first post and I'm looking at purchasing my first lathe. I've heard really good things about Leblond Regals. I've negotiated the price down a bit from this ad but I'm wondering what the rest of you think is fair.

The seller will include the three jaw chuck, live center, tailstock, Aloris quick change tool post, a bit holder or two, and possibly a center rest. He claims the ways are almost perfect.

What's a fair price on this and what should I be looking for specific to this lathe? I'm going to watch some general inspection videos on Youtube but I know each machine has is pecularities.

Thanks,
Brad from MN

It looks like a winner, fairly late model, well tooled, price may be a little high, but not absurdly so.
