Looking for shop pictures ?

I am going to build a new hobby machine shop. With mechanic workshop on one side and other side machine shop. Would like pictures of what others have done. How you set machines in place and any other pictures of unique ideas of how to setup and build shop ?

first off what size will the shop be?

Here's my shop that we just completed behind our new home. It is a 50x60x16 shop and RV garage. The shop side is 40x50 and the RV storage bay is 20' wide by 50' deep.


Here is the machining quadrant of the shop.


Automotive bays. This is two deep with my Ammco 10k pound two-post lift and storage cabinets down the wall. I can pull two full-size vehicles in end to end in this bay and one auto in behind the machining quadrant.

Work benches and toolboxes at the back of the automotive bay.


My previous shop was setup similar but quite a bit smaller at only 34'x34'x14' and pretty much only had enough room for one auto at a time and the other half was pretty much machining and fabrication equipment/area.
