I removed this mag starter from an IR compressor that I'm rebuilding, and using it on a single stage Quincy I've been going thru. The bake-lite housing is broken around the bottom of one of the line in connections. I disassembled the starter, cleaned the contacts and reassembled, and it works as it should. The stiff #10 wire holds the contact up in place just fine, but would like to make a permanent fix. Was thinking of trying regular JB Weld to capture the the rivet that once held it in place. Yeah, I know, just replace it, but it just goes against the grain to throw out something that is otherwise perfectly functional. Anyone tried anything similar, that was successful? Thanks, Mike
