Hello,

Is there anyone who can make or have the technical drawings for the gears of a southbend 9" lathe?
I know the amount of teeth, the module and the centerhole.
It's for 3D printing so if possible in digital.

Thx

See the response to your other post.

The original gears were 18 diametral pitch, 14 1/2 degree pressure angle, not module, if that matters.

Not sure if this applies to what you are asking - but just a thought.
You could take the specs of the gears needed and look up the available gears on the Boston Gear website. They have downloadable 3d prints for the gears - in many formats. Load the model into your software -like Solidworks or Fusion 360- and modify the bore if needed. . Run it through your printing software. That is assuming the models are accurate. May be worth a try.

Sorry ....Just saw your other post... I see the question was already answered by those that know for certain that this can be done.

Someone wrote a gear designer plugin for onshape. You could design them in that and export fairly easily.
