Metal from the Heavens inspire a Pair of 1911's

Now that i have your attention I just wanted to share something that I recently stumbled across that I figured a few of the members here would appreciate.
In 2015 Cabot guns company was able to buy a piece of the Gibeon meteor found in Namibia Africa in 1836. With that chuck of space Rock they (Cabot Guns) built a very impressive pair 1911 pistols that im sure could be considered amongst the rarest of the rare of human creation! Anyway.....its not a bad way to spend 10 or so minutes reading when you got the time.

I did, but I thought it absurd so I promptly forgot it. Bob's company makes some really cool pistols. Maybe someday I can afford one.

I actually live about 20 mins from Cabot and have seen the pair on display ... when they told me what they were made of I just grinned ear to ear because not only am I a gun but but I’m a science geek as well
