Last summer I did some repairs on a horse trailer for a local man who makes his own tack.
The dividers were rattling, I located the source of the noise and got caught "borrowing" my wifes nylon cutting board to make shims/silencers.
Was a fun project and I charged him the cost of a new cutting board, no upcharge for wife wrath.

He showed up last week with this mic holster which he designed as a thank you gift. He tossed together from some scraps.
Pretty neat and serves my needs well!
Note: there are actually two pockets. One of which is vented.

You both got something useful; Horse trading at it's best.

He did a nice job, but it looks like he really should have made something for your wife!

Remind me not to get into a quick draw mike contest with you!

Anybody wants any I make them from good leather hand sewn and rivited. Even covers for your six inch rule and calipers. With or without belt loop or metal slide belt hook. Starrett use to offer Mic holsters still may.

Silver,
Any pics of your leather work?
