The first thing I do is get rid of the radius on all my bars . I want them dead sharp trying to hold tenths .
 
One of these days I will get a quick change holder. I have picked up several bars but don’t yet have a holder for them. I keep looking for Amazon to sell one dirt cheap, but not yet.

I use a $3 4mm carbide end mill for boring under 1/4" works great

Looks like they're for STAR Swiss type machines. Normal price for this holder is $250.
