Milling a curved slot in 3/8 steel bar.

You could use and auxiliary x-y table as well.
 
I used to make dozens of these at a time in a manual BP with a 12" Dia. rotary table. Would not do this job in a manual machine again, ever.

Diverters made of UHMWP for a shoe sorter, bolted a 5" wide X 1" thick steel bar to the T-Slots then screwed the parts to it using their finished mounting holes and swung the 15" radii. Of course they must be rotated on the fixture to do both sides.
