Morning,
Quite a while back I saw a post about a fellow machinist who had a mini lathe and was frustrated by the compound slide locking method chosen by the manufacturer, which was to back out the slide all the way and loosen two bolts, set the new angle and tighten the bolts. Check it, repeat, check, repeat and so, designed his own "repair".
I saved the link but when my pc crashed and needed replacement, I lost the link. I am now unable to relocate this page.
Can any of you assist?
