Mitutoyo and the old fart

Get the Mitutoyo Solar powered Caliper and NEVER worry about batteries for it.
 
Yeah, I really like the auto off/on feature of the mic. Battery lasts forever. My Mitutoyo calipers (non-solar dinosaurs) don't have auto off, but the battery still lasts a lonnnnng time even if you forget and leave it on. Not that I would do that.

Get those cataracts fixed!. I am 68. Had mine done 2 years ago. Easy Peasy deal and the drug isn't bad either.
You will be amazed.

Not until I'm forced to do it. I'm fully functional right now but I know some day that will change. Getting old really sucks.

I wear prescription safety glasses with built in cheaters . Seems everything I work on never falls into the sweet spot . :rolleyes: Good thing is it keeps me working , unfortunately on my own warranty work . :grin:
