Does anyone happen to know the dimensions of the T Nut slot on the model 40 table?

Thanks

(not near mine for awhile...want to make some t nuts...)

Well I am not that good at taking measurements but here goes
The bottom slot 1-1/64"
slot depth 47/128"
top slot 63/128"

The table has standard 5/8" wide tee slots for 1/2" studs and nuts available everywhere individually or in sets.

hmm

Ken, yours is a model 40? - from what year?

i have a 1949 machine and have had a chance to go back to the shop to measure

rounding down a tad i get:

overall height - .75
overall width - .985
bottom half height - .290
top half height - .460
top half width - .490

does this match what anyone else has?

Azshade guy, it looks like your vintage table was even wider at the bottom of the slot - and only ~3/8" deep? - that is overall? or just the bottom half?

thanks

Just the bottom half
My model 40 was made in 1946

Going by the measurements above, that matches up close to mine. My mill is 645 model from 1965, predecessor of the model 50 or 55.
