I found this eBay seller with a Craigslist ad where I picked up a few hard wood 4x4 posts for a wood lathe project. He has some wood as well. Went into the shop and found a massive machinery lode to browse and buy from. Doug is helpful and friendly to work with.
If you are near Grand Rapids Michigan it is worth a visit. I picked up some carbide endmills and other things.
