My 9" Monarch Lathe

I made and have patterns for the steady rest, follow rest, faceplate and dog driving plate, but never made drawings.

I would prefer to not lend the pattern, but to provide an iron casting. Price is unknown at this point, as I do not use that foundry any more, it got too expensive. I would have to send the pattern to a new foundry that I have done business with for a quote.

The foundry that I have been using is quite reasonable, they like cash! I will inquire if they are still working, and go from there.

These Monarch Jr. lathes are far from plentiful, I know of only one other that a friend has, and now, I suppose that yours makes three.

Mine is not the Jr. Model. Mine is an A from about 1909. Can you get me the Base width and base to center dimension? it may not work.

The Jr model is a 9" nominal swing. Center height is 4 1/2" from the tailstock flat way.

ok, mine is much larger. Looks like I have a 14" lathe, not really sure on that. maybe 13"
