I picked this 12X36 CNC Project up in September

After months of fiddling, retrofitting, and installing a PMDX-126 and ESS controller in to the drive rack, Flipping the X Axis motor 180 degrees I had first movements a week ago. will not disclose at this time how much I am in to it the incomplete project cost me a bit under 1k I will give final figures when I cut first chips and add up receipts.

The drivers and Steppers are Microkinetics.

See Video Here.

Still have some minor work to do to it and some mach3 settings but every hours I spend I get 1 step closer to cutting chips.

Yes, I am on the guild also. The Build Blog and reason why I went with the PMDX-126 and ESS controller. I hope to be making chips soon but time and funding is limited.

I plan on installing a 3ph motor with VFD also. But for now will leave it manual to get to cutting chips until I can afford the motor & vfd.
