My Taig Setup

I have already ordered parts from him once, and I am working towards getting another order together. He has been very good to work with, and his site as a tremendous amount of info and inspiration on it. His prices are the best I have found for their parts.

Working the Taig to it's limits. Facing the block with the fly cutter took the full traverse and nearly the full vertical slide, with the cutter close to it's largest diameter. This is a part for my Atlas lathe. Certainly is a learning experience!

block started out at 1.5 X 2.5 X 3.75".

I second the idea of looking at the Nick Carter site. He has a ton of information and sells Taig parts at a discount.

My Taig in it's new temporary shop location, right across from the Atlas. Turns out that the tool post from the Taig is very close to the height needed for the Atlas, close enough that it will work for now. I made a T-nut for the Atlas so I can mount the tool post or the milling slide on it.

This should make tooling acquisition easier at least for now.
