Need help this morning

Thank you for the responses
Who is the rotary phase converter genius we have here, these are low hp motors, a 3-5 hp rotary???? How much would that add to the price? I see online a huge price range, and the DIY guys saying it's simple, I personally would not try it, the smoke needs to stay in the wire. I am leaning more to the rotary, as the PO said he had better longevity with his setup.

I think you could get away with a static phase converter on the saw, but the blade welder should be wired seperately.

I know less than anybody about electrical, the notes I have seen are to be cautious with powering a 60-70 year old motors. I have no knowledge to argue any points, I just need this investment to stay alive:)

Ahh man! The downfall living on a paradise island (no connection to Tattoo's Paradise Island)

For power see if you can find a cheap old 3phase motor (big). There are plenty of folks on here who can walk you through the RPC build.

I will look into this also. I do not want to screw the pooch myself on this one.

I'm familiar with Mike, I'll see what he has to say. Thank you Brino
