Just as the title says, I could use a little help in making a tee nut for my new to me Sheldon lathe. Anyone in the greater Tucson. AZ area have a mill in the home shop and willing to teach/show me the steps in making one? Thanks and blessings.

There are lots of ways to make them. They can be welded, brazed, glued, or even forged, if you have access to hammer, anvil and forge. I made a couple with weldments. They work well enough to mount your tool post and mill with the lathe. Then, you can use the nice one and hide the first one.

as stated above: use the lost art of hacksaw and file

You can make a Tee nut on the lathe, Cut the anti-rotation flats with a hacksaw and file.
