Thanks Eddyde, for the detective work, unfortunately amazon does not deliver that item to Australia, I looked up another supplier (US) and they want $140. to deliver again a very common problem for us here in Downunder, with American suppliers. I have been able to supply our newbie "K" with a couple of leads, we'll see how he goes with them. I'm based here in Australia, although some distance (approx 2700 Km =1670m) from him, but I do have contacts, and I'm used to finding things that are hard to find. So if he needs further help.

Thank you for input. Still looking at moment for a belt.
Need lathe to turn up some parts for a 72 inch belt grinder that am planning to make
After that will look into modes for lathe
Vfd powered three phase motor
Not sure what original motor is but it will be a single phase.
Need to look at hp, torque and rpm requirements

Can you post a photo of the lathe?
There seems to be a couple of versions of CQ6125 around.
A bench top lathe and another allegedly the same as a Grizzly 4003G.
Have a look on Grizzly.com they have lots of manuals with parts diagrams.

Once you work out what belt you need any bearing supplier should be able to supply it.
