New to me mill.

Listen to what was said about how to control the motor. I would not put the forward reverse switch between the motor and the vfd. Use the vfd to control the motor or you might smoke the VFD.

Thanks for the info. I have not purchased a VFD yet so will review the thread when I get it.
As I said this is my first mill and it came with no tooling. Where should I start with my purchases?
I have a vise but not sure where to start for other tooling, collets, mill holder, parallels, 123 block?
Would like to get the minimum just to start and do some practice cuts as I know that this is a
lifetime of buying things that I will need. Any suggestion or lists that I could go by?

If it R8, then a set of collets in 16th’s up to 7/8”. Thin parallel set.
