No one is into rc

Here in Ct we used to be able to fly anything within reason in state parks and I have a large park only 5 minutes away. Then some broad and some guy got in an argument about 30 miles from here and she made a big deal about it to the state. I heard 20 different versions of the altercation so I can't say what it was really about but in typical politician fashion, instead of making some logical ruling to satisfy the parties involved, they killed a fly with a bazooka and said no flying of anything on any state property. There was a half dozen of us old retired stick jockeys that met there a cupla times a week to fly so we had to join clubs. Unfortunately the location of area clubs resulted in the group breaking up and joining at 3 different locations. I met lots of great guys in the new club but I surely miss the old faces!

Hmm, I think I'd be looking with my freinds to find land we couple have a legal flying club at that was (by total coincidence ) close to the "broads" house.....

I thought that I posted on this thread but apparently not. I started RC airplanes when I was 13 or 14 years old. That hobby steered me toward an aviation career. I got out of RC for about 20 years when I had no money, no space, and no time. About seven years ago, I got back into it. All of my aircraft and helicopters are electric. Currently, the largest RC aircraft I have is an 89" B-25. The helicopters are 700mm and 800mm (each blade is that length), equating to approximately a 5ft rotor span.

Ah, I see what looks like a scale bell 222. Always wanted to build one of those when I was flying heli’s. Never got around to it….
