Old ao smith centurion motor help

I've got this old 1 1/2 hp pool pump motor E44549. I'm trying to wire up from 230 to 115 so I can test it. biggest problem is the label is bleached so I'm trying to make sure I'm doing it right. from the diagram it looks like it says the brown wire goes to terminal B and the white wire goes to L2 if this is correct which terminal would be the hot L1 or L2 thanks for any help

I don't think it really makes any difference, but normally I would wire the hot to L1.

Looks correct. Doesn't matter which is hot L1 or L2
Be sure to have a ground wire also for safety; pool motors are often exposed to the elements/corrosive chemicals and become electrically "leaky" leading to a possible shock hazard
