Has anyone converted an old paintball gun to shoot something else? I picked one up for 2 bucks at a yard sale.

Might be able to make a nifty actuator for the half-nuts when threading to a shoulder.:apologize:

You can chill or even freeze the paint balls if you want more impact out of them.

You can buy a variety of "Paint Balls" including solid rubber and ones with a wax shell and a chalk filling, you wouldn't shoot them at people as they'd do significant damage ;-)

They have some that shoot arrows now.
I'd guess some ingenious hobby machinist bow hunter was the first.

You can also get paintball shells that you fill with the substance of your choice, a fine powder with a very high reading on the Scoville scale is popular for a potentially non-lethal means of addressing home invasion, if they breathe it in it might still do for them though :D

Make your own sixty cal lead balls and try it. Try your skills of a moderator building.

With just 800 psi to work with from CO2 even steel balls require "Artillery Sights", lead would be useful for shooting ground targets from the roof of a tall building, but not much else :D
