We have received a notice claiming that a phishing attack has infiltrated our member site. To be clear, this has not happened. It is a feeble attempt to get an administrator or moderator scared enough to click a link in their email and establish a connection to get information out of us.
It is important that these attempts offer a moment for us to remind each other that while our site is secure, we have to be on guard from bad actors finding ways in under our radar and trying to do harm.
Just remember, you should never have to give anyone your bank information over the phone, your passwords, or other secure personal information. Do not click on links that you do not know anything about.
