Nice. No welder, so I had to use a clamp-on rail on my PTR-91. Seems pretty secure, but will know when I get to the range.

I always thought the G3 needed a rail. Or more specifically, a 7.62x51 with an 18" barrel is too capable for iron battle sights alone. The STANAG claw mount is a bit funky, so a picatinny makes sense!

No silver solder. I drilled and plug welded the rail then cleaned up the slots in the mill.
