Well after almost a year my hobby shop maybe coming together shortly. Decided I will go with the PM-25mv mill for now, until I can come across a bridgeport when that happens i will convert to a cnc machine. My question is for those that have this mill, have they done anything to it to increase the spindle rpms. If so how easy was it to modify. Thanks.

I have done nothing to increase the RPMs of my PM25. Having said that it goes fast enough for me, I use .156 2 flute HSS endmills, run them around 2200 I aluminum. Beyond that is scary loud. I'm pretty sure it would run to 2400, but I don't need it. I can assure you the mill will do what you want, (otherwise). I'm quite happy to have one in my shop. I did put power on the X drive and a motor on the head so I don't have to crank it up and down.
