PM-30 Vice Size

I have a Shars 440V on my rf30. The jaws are 4", but the vise opens to 6", which has come in handy many times. It weighs about 35 lbs, so it is not a major effort to move it.
6" parallels work fine, they stick out an inch on each side, but that hasn't been a problem.

I placed the order to reserve my mill and went with the 4"...my stuff wont ship for several weeks so I should have plenty of time to change my mind if I choose. Until then I'm still open to any advice or thoughts on the matter...

After reading back through the posts here I'm thinking the idea of swapping in 5" extended jaws might be the ticket...
