Can anyone tell me what size t-nut the compound uses? Slot size and thread. Thanks.

CRS setting in . I'm with ya ! :big grin: As far as the nut Mike , find out the size and post it here . I'm getting ready to toss a box out of different sizes . Just keeping the BPs and will forward any that are needed here .

The T nut on my 1228 compound has 8 x1.25 mm thread and hex bolt is 15 mm threaded shank 24 mm overall in length
Yes I rounded the edges on the T so it had smoother travel.

Hey by any chance can you tell me the belt size, link or model #. Been searching the forum and have several #’s but people say they are all to long or short. I’d prefer to not even run the machine with the oem belt. Oh and if you happen to know the bearing numbers of the tensioner pulley that’d also be helpful. Thanks dude.
 

PM1228 compound t-nut size.​


The compound on my PM10-30 came with captive screws with a nut on top. I made new ones, and nuts to match, found that the original setup had pulled the edges of the T Slot upward, so put a .005 shim on the outboard side (under the compound flange) to compensate for the 'tip' of the originals. It seems to be working OK.
 
The belt I got from NAPA is on the tight side, I ran it for a bit w/o the tensioner in use. I also had to replace the tensioner arm because one of the 2 bearings got tight, and the shaft spun. Bearing number is 6001RS there is a small number also, B22-19. I can get the belt number later....
