POOR QUALITY SCRIBE

I inherited a tool box full of odds and ends from my son's deceased father-in-law. Included was this scribe that I never liked because it seemed the point was too soft to make a good line. Anyhoo one day I decided to order one of the spring loaded centerpunchs that don't require a hammer blow. When it arrived I noticed it looked EXACTLY like my poor quality scribe! Yeah, that's right, I had it for years and never realized it was a center punch not a scribe!
 
If you're in this business long enough you'll esperience this occasionally. I have problems putting something down and then it's not there when I want it. Either that or I forget where I put it.
 
At least it wasn't vise versa & you didn't use a scribe as a center punch. :big grin:
