POTD- PROJECT OF THE DAY: What Did You Make In Your Shop Today?

Today my heating palette arrived, This year i bought it early, because last year i had to pay a premium price. I had about 0.5 tone left from last year, i move them to the other side of the small garage, then swiped the floor and arranged the pallets, put down plastic and started shanking the bags, after the 140 new bags i moved the old bags they are the same make on top to be used first. Now my small garage feels even smaller but its one less task to think about.

It must get cold in Macedonia. That's a lot of fuel.
If you lose power does the stove still work?

Usually winters are mild. But houses are not insulated. Last year we haven't lost power, the year before that i run a UPS to keep the stove running, once is leat it take very little power for the waterpump and fan.

All of the above… also adds 5 hp. Stock is 24hp/24 ft-lbs of torque. Does not win any races but it can go up over almost anything with all my camping gear…. Very simple single cylinder engine.

I wanted it to give it just a little bit more power. This is the most cost effective modification to make for that.

I replaced my top heavy, and too tall for me, BMW F 850 GSA with this…

If the 850 was heavy think how bad the 1,200 GS is!!
I had a 2005 BMW R1200 RT. I loved that bike on the road!!

Managed to do one more session with the cross slide and will call it good for now.

Will more or less stop here and clean up the removed parts before continuing. Try not to get to far ahead of myself when taking things apart.

Lathe is from 1967 and I doubt that it has ever had a maintenance dissemble. It's been well oiled over the years resulting is a slurry of oil, metal particles and dust for lubricant.
Never really thought about this aspect when purchased but am learning

Got another little job done, drilling and counterboring my little four jaw chuck for bolts that fit the rotary table t-nuts

well it technically only has two jaws (shares the other two with my lathe 4 jaw) so it is actually a Two (jaw) Buck Chuck :)
I have 2 of those Bucks sitting on my back porch if anyone could use them .

Worked on the yard sprayer as we received all/most of the parts.

Rewired the unit as factory wiring was odd with an extra creator that stated not to use as it would blow the fuse.

Redid the water lines to get them out of the back cover and a fitting on the frame.

The wand is rated for 4000 PSI, so it works really well at 60.

The spray nozzles fit the fittings perfectly, but the spoiled with a long wand is after you release the trigger gravity still feeds material.

Real pain as some air gets in to pressurize it.

We found these little check valves on Amazon, perfect!

They require some effort to work, so the spring will easily close the valve, so no drips.

Replaced the battery and added a bit longer hose

Works were well now.

Next is making a micro-sprayer using the mister nozzles, but we need to add a filter for those.
