Powermatic 6 x 12 surface grinder, $650, Irvine, CA

Wow the seller considers that a "Compact" size! I Haven't been around a whole lot of those machines but I dont think i would consider that Compact!
 
I seriously doubt the machine spent it's working life making jewelry. By the looks of it it's has spent the bulk of it's time in a working machine shop. It's covered in dried coolant and crud with telltale fingerprints around the switch and handwheels. I suppose someone in the jewelry business may have purchased it at one time, but I doubt it was used in that business. If it was I'd hate to see the condition of jewelry the shop
