I acquired several hundred .223 brass the other day. They all had crimped primers.
I needed a primer pocket reamer so after a quick internet search for dimensions I headed for the shop.
Found a piece of scrap 3/8" drill rod in the scrap pile. It was pretty straight forward cutting the flutes.
I hand sharpened it. Since it's for cutting brass I did not bother to harden and temper it.
I can do about 100 primer pockets in about 20 minutes.

Nice job Terry
looks better than the store one I have. Its nice when you can make what to need to do something else.

Good job on the reamer Terry. To be able to make your own tools is half the fun of this hobby.

Thanks for sharing.
