Question on Toolmaster 1D Y-axis stop

So...
How did this saga end?
Incidentally, I'm hoping to see some pics of a Cincy factory stop.
A crude drawing, or pic showing a rule would be helpful so that I might approximate OEM.
Some day I plan to make some for my 1B (some day).

I apologize for dropping the ball on this.

Nobody came forward with the size of the exposed X-axis pin, so I found a photo of a manual-feed 1D on the net and did some crude divider work to come up with an exposed length of just over one inch. There was about an inch imbedded in the table casting when I pull out the hacked-off stub, so I cut a two inch length of W1, faced it off, and tapped one end 3/8-24 (in case I ever need to pull the pin out). Froze it overnight in the freezer, heated the table a bit, and tap-tap-tap the pin went right in.

Here is a shot of the finished product.

Thanks to all who helped me on this.

Nice job Jeff, but I still having trouble trying to visualize all off this. Just were is this stop (looks like the front side) Is this some kind of stop like a lathe carriage stop?
And whats it used for Milling a pocket or something? My 1B 1C & 1D book doesnt show anything like that curious Sam

Great question!
Especially important if you are not familiar with the device.
Attached is an excerpt from page 23 of the Cincy Toolmaster operators manual.
Do you have the "Ops Manual" and the "Parts and Service Manual"?
They are both available free on-line.
Please let us know if you are having difficulty finding them.

Again, thanks to Jeff for the close ups!
