All my mics had chewed up battery covers - so rather buy new ones, I modelled and printed some instead.
I made them two part, as to get a better finish on the recessed cross / screwdriver slot. They're a friction fit, and just push together. If you want to print some for your mics (obviously I can only say they fit my mics, and they're all mitutoyo but of varying vintages) the files are on thingiverse here:
For the curious - major diameter is 17.6mm, 4.85mm high and it's an M15x1 thread.
