Anyone actually have a follower rest for their Rockwell 10" lathe. I have seen images in the catalog but have not seen one actually installed.
I plan on making one but I can't seem to figure out the actual design. I can tell by the image that there is a curve to bring it in line with the cutting tool but when I have my QCTP mounted I can't get the bend to even come close to lining up with the tool to support it.
If you have one, a couple of pictures posted showing some different angles of it mounted on the lathe would be most appreciated.
The catalog number of the rest I am talking about is 25-850.

The factory rest will be set up for the lantern tool post . You will have to come up with something that is close to your quick change. It should be inline with your tool an keep the work from moveing away from your tool. If what you are turning is small you could even use wood . The idea is just keeping what you are turning from moveing away from the tool.
