HOBBY-MACHINIST.COM SAFETY WARNING - PLEASE READ THIS!

SAFETY WARNING!

ALL FIREARMS ARE CLASSIFIED AS DANGEROUS WEAPONS. THIS WEBSITE, THE WEBSITE OWNER AND/OR THE GUN DEALER CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE AND/OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PHYSICAL INJURY, DEATH AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE RESULTING DIRECTLY AND/OR INDIRECTLY FROM EITHER THE INTENTIONAL AND/OR UNINTENTIONAL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM(S) AND PROPER HANDLING OR FUNCTIONING OF A FIREARM(S), PARTS, ACCESSORIES, OR AMMUNITION.

Any time a person has any involvement with any type of firearm, there is an unavoidable element of risk associated with that involvement. Weapons can misfire and explode in your face, possibly causing severe or fatal injury. Negligent discharges on your part may harm you or other people (or things) around you, and negligent discharges from other people who are also handling/training with firearms near to you may also harm you or your belongings.

BEWARE: DO NOT ASSUME that any subject matter or procedure or process is safe or correct or appropriate just because it was mentioned in a forum or post or was included in these files or on this site or on any other web site or was published in a magazine or book or video.

Working with metals and machinery and chemicals and electrical equipment is inherently dangerous. Wear safety devices and clothing as appropriate.

Remove watches, rings, and jewelry -- and secure or remove loose clothing -- before operating any machine.

Read, understand and follow the latest operating procedures and safety instructions provided by the manufacturer of your machine or tool or product. If you do not have those most recent official instructions, acquire a copy through the manufacturer before operating or using their product. Where the company no longer exists, use the appropriate site, forum, news or user group to locate an official copy. Be careful -- original instructions may not meet current safety standards. Updated safety information and operating instructions may also be available through a local club, a local professional in the trade, a local business, or an appropriate government agency. In every case, use your common sense before beginning or taking the next step; and do not proceed if you have any questions or doubts about any procedure, or the safety of any procedure. Follow all laws and codes, and employ certified or licensed professionals as required by those laws or codes. Hazardous tasks beyond your competence or expertise should also be contracted to professionals. Let's be really careful out there.

Use caution when using machinery, power equipment and tools to reduce the risk of personal injury. Always use safety equipment. Always wear safety glasses or approved eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection should be

worn for appropriate conditions. Read and understand all instructions. Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered work environments and poor lighting may cause accidents. Do not operate power tools around explosive materials. Be aware of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools can create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. Keep bystanders, children and visitors out of the work area. Always be aware of your surroundings. Machines have no conscience. To avoid distractions that could cause injury to you or others, all visitors should be kept away from the work area. Do not operate power tools while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention may result in serious personal injury. Loose clothing, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. Do not overreach. Proper footing and balance enables better control of the tool. Store idle tools and machinery out of reach of children or other untrained persons. Machinery and tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
