They have a second life as a sandpaper cleaner. The micro fibres are great for picking stuff out of sandpaper, files, and maybe more things that get clogged up. I just cleaned a diamond lap with one. There is a trick to discovering the right scouring technique but it takes about 10 seconds to master.

I'll have to try this. I do have a big eraser looking thing that I use on my belt and spindle sander. I works good.

Oh I can see it now, "Honey can you save me those swiffer sheets?"
But Dan, don't you save enough junque as it is, what in the world do you need these for.... :)

Going to have to try it none-the-less.
 
Just about gave my wife a heart attach today; was using the swifter to clean the wood floors. Little does she know . . .

hmmmm.....wonder how they would clean up some of my stones. Will have to try it out.
