Next problem,
After putting gear box and apron on I went to the countershaft and motor, and the new motor won't work out (see pic) the motor hangs off the pad. The single phase motor base is way too short to fit the taped holes in the base from the 3 phase motor. I guess I will have to make an adapter plate to fit, which means I will have to alter the belt guard also. Any good ideas out there, I would like to hear them. I will aslo need a new motor pulley or shim shaft 1/16" so the 3 phase motor pulley will work, which is doable. I did not even get to the wiring yet, which should not be a problem, I think. Does anybody run into these problems that I have been having or just me (haha).
