The Vertex coolant kit I bought for my mill came with a short but good brand Jeton coolant flex hose. However it was a bit to short for my machine however and the local reseller wanted over 50$ (!) for an extension (https://smaskin.se/kylslang-1-4).

Instead I purchased some cheap coolant flex hose from Amazon in good faith for 15$ (https://www.amazon.se/-/en/gp/product/B07253G4LP/).

I joined two section of the cheap coolant flex hose from Amazon but it leaked everywhere when I turned on the coolant...

In order to cure the problem I intubated the coolant flex hose with some Festo air pressure hose and sealed it with o-rings at each end.

That solved the problem and much to my surprise also significantly increased the flow. A simple mod but I thought it could be worth to share for everyone else that comes across leaking coolant flex hoses.

that is a good Idea. I have seen where they put heat shrink over top but your idea looks much better.
