Seized Spindle

I checked when I popped them in that they were pretty secure. I suspect that they may walk about a little but that's not really a problem. As long as they don't become detached. I stuck in half a dozen or so including one on the filler plug that i can take out and check from time to time.
 
Well as part of the procedure I had to drain the oil anyway so I cleaned everything out as best I could and filled with fresh oil. Still you can see the magnets are picking up small particles, presumably that were left behind after the clean. It's a rough painted finish in there and it hard to clean in all the nooks and crannies. I resorted to spraying these areas with brake cleaner to clean up as much as possible. I also used a magnet on a stick to run across the bottom - it's amazing how much it picked up!
