(I should probably put this in a different section but there was no sheldon section?)
I've been looking for a lathe for a while and may have stumbled across one but I dont know anything about it or its value. It is a Sheldon EXL 46-B with a serial number of EXL-28248. The spindle bore is 1 3/8" Does anyone have an approximate value? Are these good lathes? The guy cant get me a picture of it but says it is in good shape. I just want to try and get some info on it before I drive 2 hours to go see it. I tried to sign up to the yahoo group with john knox who is suppose to know all about these lathes but I couldnet get signed up..
