Sheldon Machine Co. Lathe

Sheldon is good stuff. The ways are probably hardened.
If it's not crapped out, I'd spend up to $400, maybe more.

I picked up a South Bend 10K from the same agency in Albuquerque NM. Mine was a really sweet machine with very little use that came from the USAF. From what I have heard the military equipment is usually a good deal because they buy nothing but the best and hardly use it. That was certainly the case with my South Bend, the tailstock was jambed and I think that was the reason they scrapped it. Other than the tailstock, the machine was like new.

I guess that is the advantage I have living in the desert. It doesn't rain much here.
