Good day all,

I dropped my mill the other day while moving it to my new building. It fell backwards to the ground. The table was not locked and rapidly moved up in the direction of the fall. The hand wheel does not move this axis any longer. How do you get inside there to correct this?? I figure (hope) that I broke a shear pin. Any in-site would be greatly accepted.

I'm not sure as how to fix it , but I'll tell you you're not the first person to lose a machine while moving it . I still have a crack in my basement floor where my first lathe landed . :big grin:

Sorry about your luck. Broken casting at the leadscrew nut? Maybe just disengaged the travel stop?
Cheers

Oh Dang, (insert the real response here)

No worries all. Broken a taper pin that holds the gear. The machine is fine!!!
Thanks everyone.
