I just happened to be browsing here, and saw this post. I have that same exact lathe (New model for us) coming in on the 12th of this month. I can get it delivered to you for well under $2000 for everything, shipping included. I hate to offer something for sale here, but you really really want that machine, so I couldn't resist.
Its the PM-1022V, I can send some info on it if you like. Same exact machine and factory and everything, but comes direct from Pittsburgh, not Canada.
The arrival notice for the shipment says Sept. 12th, thats usually spot on, maybe a few days by the time they bring it from the rail yard to here. (30 miles)
