Hi all, this is my first post. I recently mounted my mini mill onto a 1/2" thick steel plate thats bolted to an antique cast iron sink pedastal. I wanted to fix the column to the steel plate for added rigidity and these old cummins engine brackets in my parts bin caught my eye. They are cast iron, 10" tall and 1.5" thick at the thinnest area. The base of them curves out to clear the mill base bolt tabs, and they clear the head and coarse wheel for the full travel.
